Article 127. Genocide
Actions, accomplished for the purpose of the systematic destruction in full or in part of any racial, national, ethnic, religious group or group, determined on the basis of any other arbitrary criterion, such as killing members of the group; causing serious bodily or mental harm to members of the group; deliberately inflicting on the group conditions of life calculated to bring about its physical destruction in whole or in part; imposing measures intended to prevent births within the group; [and/or] forcibly transferring children of the group to another group (genocide), is punished by the deprivation of freedom for the period from ten to twenty five years, or by life imprisonment, or capital punishment.

Art. 130: Incitement to racial, national or religious hatred or discord
1. Willful actions aimed at inciting racial, national or religious hatred or discord, degradation of national honor and dignity, shall be punishable by a fine or by arrest for up to six months, or restricting the freedom for a period of up to five years, or by imprisoning for the same period of time.
2. If these actions are carried out, with the use of violence, or by a person who has made use of his/her official position, shall be punishable by imprisoning the guilty person for a period of from three up to ten years.
3. Actions, specified in parts 1 and 2 of this article, if committed by a group of persons or which entailed death or other grave consequences, shall be punishable by imprisoning the guilty person for a period of from five up to twelve years.

Article 139. Murder
1. Intentional illegal deprivation of life of another person (murder) - is punished by the deprivation of freedom for the period from six to fifteen years.
2. A murder:
1) of two or more persons;
2) with the knowledge that the victim is young, aged or a person, who is in a helpless state;
3) with the knowledge that the victim is pregnant;

14) on the motives of racial, national, religious hostility or hatred;

- Is punished by the deprivation of freedom for the period from eight to twenty five years, or by life imprisonment or the capital punishment, and in the presence of the circumstances, provided by the point 12 of the second part of the present article, with or without confiscation of property.

Article 190. Equality of citizens’ rights
The intentional direct or indirect disturbance or limitation of rights and freedoms or the establishment of the direct or indirect advantages of citizens with respect to their sex, race, nationality, language, origin, financial or official status, place of residence, relation to the religion, persuasions, membership in public associations, which caused essential harm to rights, freedoms and legitimate interests of a citizen, is punished by a fine, or corrective labor for a period of up to two years, or limitation of freedom for the same period, or by deprivation of freedom for the period of up to two years with the deprivation of the right to hold certain posts or to be involved in certain activities or without the deprivation.
